The Americans for Democratic Action is backing Jacob Meitser as its choice in Illinois' Feb. 2 Democratic primary for United States Senate.
Founded in 1947 by Eleanor Roosevelt and Hubert Humphrey, Americans for Democratic Action, is the oldest, multi-issue liberal lobbying organization in the country. The organization lobbies for civil rights and civil liberties, social and economic justice, and peaceful resolution to international conflicts.
