Meister Hears You: We Need All the Help We Can Get

A dry cleaner has never seen business so bad. A restaurant owner fears he may have to cut staff. Another business owner does not know how he can provide health insurance for his employees.
These are some of the voices telling their stories to Jacob Meister, Democratic candidate for U.S. Senate in the latest radio ad promoting Meister’s bid for U.S. Senate. “We need all the help we can get” is airing today through Tuesday, Nov. 24 on the Illinois Radio Network and WCPT, Air America. On the 60-second spot are voices of real small business owners telling Meister what serious and immediate problems they face as they do business in this economy.
The cornerstone of the Meister campaign is jobs, jobs, jobs, and Meister is traveling the state to hear what people are saying and explain his innovative ways to create new and sustainable jobs in a new economy.
